David Boyle is the managing director at Rokstone Special Risks, responsible for starting a non-traditional contingency account, mostly comprising new or differentiated lines, alongside growing multiple complementary specialty accounts.

He joined the group in December 2021, having previously run his own MGA since 2018. Prior to this he worked at Lloyd’s as a class underwriter for several different contingency accounts, most recently starting a new contingency account for ArgoGlobal. Before working at Lloyd’s he was a contingency underwriter for Munich Re in London.

Outside of work, David likes to play football once a week and get to the gym. However, most of his time is dedicated to his young family, with two boys and a girl.
